Thursday, October 26, 2023. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang (FKIK UIN Malang) held an activity visiting professor series 2 this year. In this activity, FKIK UINMA presented a special guest from Universiti Putra Malaysia, she is Prof. Datin. Dr. Hj. Sharida Fakurazi, an expert in the field of Pharmacology. The arrival of the guest who is familiarly called Prof. Sharida was welcomed directly by the dean of FKIK UINMA, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M. Kes., Sp.Rad(K) and her staff.

The series of events began with an opening attended by the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UINMA in the faculty leadership meeting room. This was followed by a guest lecture session delivered by Prof. Sharida to the 2022 Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program students and the 2023 Medical Education Study Program students alternately in their respective study program buildings. All students from the two study program fields enthusiastically welcomed Prof. Sharida's arrival by conveying special greeting as a form of their enthusiasm to learn from the knowledge sharing that will be delivered by Prof. Sharida at this guest lecture.

“"I am very happy and feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to exchange ideas with a professor from abroad. Furthermore, the material presented by Prof. Sharida was very informative and we gained a lot of knowledge, because we didn't just look at how the case occurred in one country," said Sabita Lutfun Ramdhini, one of the undergraduate Pharmacy students who attended the guest lecture.

After the series of guest lectures was completed, the activity continued with a discussion session in the form of sharing A relaxed meeting between the Dean of FKIK UINMA and the leadership team together with Prof. Datin. Dr. Hj. Sharida Fakurazi in the faculty leadership meeting room, a complete menu of Indonesian specialties was served on the dining table as a treat for the arrival of the foreign guests. Many things were discussed to maintain warm and harmonious relations between foreign universities. "This guest lecture is intended for students and lecturers, we also discussed the possibility of conducting joint research with both lecturers and students, I hope that with this visiting professor program from abroad, you as students or lecturers can get inspiration in various ways," said Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M. Kes., Sp.Rad (K) as the dean of FKIK UIN Malang.

Prof. Sharida responded to this activity with a very good impression of the students and lecturers of FKIK UIN Malang in the program. visiting professor FKIK UIN Malang 2023. He said "“Today I have two classes, one with first years medical students and the other one with second years pharmacy students and I'm Impressed, because I feel very welcome and I feel that they have a very good attitude in welcoming visitors and then when I'm walking down everybody gives me greetings, say hello and It's like coming back home.”
