Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation
Student achievement at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang, particularly in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), is highly valued and recognized. FKIK is committed to recognizing outstanding students, both academically and non-academically, at various levels of competition, from local to international.
To support this, FKIK formed Student Affairs and Alumni Unit Under the supervision of the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, this unit is responsible for providing services that include improving student competency, organizing competitions, and awarding awards. In addition, this unit also organizes various programs such as seminars, career development workshops, entrepreneurship exhibitions, and mentoring students in various competitions.
As a guideline for the implementation of guidance, support, and awarding of awards for achievements and student activities within the Faculty, Student Affairs and Alumni Unit published the Guidelines for Recognition of Achievements and Student Activities which apply to all FKIK UIN Malang students.
Student Achievement Reporting System (STARS FKIK)
Student Affairs and Alumni Unit Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang @fkik.uinmalang launched a new web-based application, namely Student Achievement Reporting System (STARS). With this application, UIN Malang Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences students can report all their achievements and enter them into a database of outstanding students. This database will be used to determine rewards for outstanding students during each graduation period.
This application comes with interesting features, including several features such as leaderboard And student blog which can be accessed by all users. In addition, with the presence of this application, now proposal submission and competition report flow or delegation activities/student exchange and so on are reconstructed well and more structured.

The results of the recapitulation of student achievements at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang throughout 2023, resulted in total 171 achievements the details are as follows:
- 11 Regional level achievements
- 123 National level achievements
- 37 International level achievements
