The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang once again held its annual Open House FKIK 2025 on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with the theme: Getting to Know the Campus of Ulul Albab Doctors and Pharmacists Join the Journey of Relentless Excellence. This online event aims to introduce the campus profile, academic climate, and facilities of FKIK to prospective students from all over Indonesia. Despite being held virtually, the event was still enthusiastically received by dozens of high school (SMA/SMK/MAN) students who attended as participants.

The event's chief executive, Yusuf Ikrom Nur Azami, M.Farm, explained that the FKIK Open House is a platform specifically designed to provide a comprehensive overview of college life at the FKIK UIN Malang. Through this virtual expo, participants can gain a closer look at the study programs, learning resources, and the academic atmosphere on campus. He emphasized that the main goal of this event is to foster interest and make it easier for students to choose a college that best suits their interests and potential.
Unlike previous years, which were held offline and in conjunction with Carnival 2024, this year's Open House was held independently and entirely online. Yusuf acknowledged that budget constraints were one of the challenges the committee faced. However, by maximizing the latest technology and digital platforms, the event ran smoothly without compromising the essence and spirit of the event. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident in the numerous interactions and questions raised during the discussion sessions.
The event received full support from the faculty. In her remarks, the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), Dr. Alvi Miliana, M.Biomed, expressed her appreciation for the hard work of the committee and the active participation of the participants. She stated that the Open House is part of FKIK's commitment to providing the widest possible access to information for prospective students. She stated that this activity is not only a promotional event, but also a form of inclusive and educational academic service, reflecting the integration of health sciences and Islamic values.
The 2025 FKIK Open House was publicized through the faculty's official social media platforms, including Instagram, to reach more prospective students. In addition to faculty introduction sessions and student testimonials, the event also featured interactive discussions, allowing participants to gain firsthand information from current students about their learning experiences, organizational activities, and available scholarship opportunities.

The committee hopes that this event will provide high school students with a clearer understanding of the academic world at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) at UIN Malang. Furthermore, the Open House is expected to strengthen FKIK's position as a leading healthcare education institution that continues to innovate in producing professional graduates with integrity and Islamic values.
