Wednesday (20/4/2022), for the umpteenth time the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang (FKIK UIN Malang) held a charity event for orphans and the poor and continued with a gathering and breaking the fast with residents around Campus III FKIK UIN Malang. This year the event was held with the residents of Gangsiran Hamlet, precisely located at the At-Taqwa Mosque, Gangsiran Hamlet, Tlekung Village, Batu City. This event felt very lively because it was attended by village officials, the head of the mosque takmir, orphans, the poor, faculty leaders and staff and all elements of society in Gangsiran Hamlet, Tlekung, Batu City.

In his remarks, Mr. Ach. Nashichuddin, MA., as Deputy Dean II of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, stated that today's iftar (breaking the fast) is part of the annual FKIK Ramadan Celebration program. "We, as representatives of the campus, State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang "We want to provide benefits to the residents around the campus," he added. Mr. Nasich also expressed his hope that holding similar events would further strengthen the bond between the community and the FKIK UIN Malang community.

This year's charity event for orphans and the underprivileged for residents of Gangsiran Hamlet, Tlekung, Batu City was held in a family atmosphere. Welcomed by the Village Head and Tlekung Village officials, the entire committee and guests from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang brought approximately 60 food packages and cash to be distributed to orphans and the underprivileged. To complete the festive event on Wednesday (April 20, 2022) afternoon, the 2022 FKIK Ramadan Celebration Pildacil Champion was also featured, as well as a lecture on "Ramadan Nutrition: Fasting and Health" delivered by Dr. Christyaji Indradmojo, Sp.EM. The event concluded with a communal breaking of the fast and Maghrib prayer at the At-Taqwa Mosque, Gangsiran Hamlet, Tlekung Village, Batu City.
