The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held an activity Student Participant Release International Student Internships King Mongkut's Thonburi University of Technology (KMUTT), Thailand in 2026 on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM WIB located at Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

In this activity, FKIK UIN Malang officially released 5 students who will take part in the program. International Student Internships 2026 at KMUTT Thailand for one month. The students selected to participate in the program are:

This farewell activity is a form of FKIK UIN Malang's commitment to supporting the internationalization of education and providing opportunities for students to gain learning and research experience in an international academic environment.

In her interview, the Chair of the 2026 International Student Internship Program Committee, apt. Mayu Rahmayanti, S.Farm., M.Sc., explained that this program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain academic and research experience abroad, so they can broaden their horizons, improve their scientific competencies, and develop their adaptability in an international environment.“"Students are expected to broaden their horizons, improve their knowledge, practice their English language skills, and learn to adapt to an international academic environment."” he said.

The faculty hopes that the selected students will take advantage of this opportunity to gain as much experience as possible, especially in improving laboratory skills, research abilities, and soft skills required in an international academic environment.

Program internship King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi was chosen because it is one of Thailand's leading universities, boasting modern laboratory facilities and a strong research culture, particularly in the sciences. This conducive academic environment is expected to support student competency development throughout the program.

During one month of implementation internship, Students will conduct research in their chosen laboratory under the supervision of a supervisor from KMUTT. At the end of the program, students will also present their research findings as an academic output from their activities. internship.

Prior to departure, the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine (FKIK) of UIN Malang provided various forms of training to students, including strengthening laboratory skills relevant to their research areas, academic mentoring, and experience-sharing sessions with KMUTT alumni. This training aims to help students prepare for the academic and cultural challenges of their time in Thailand.

Through this program, FKIK UIN Malang hopes that selected students can become academic ambassadors who bring the university's good name to the international level and return with experience, knowledge, and global networks that are beneficial for personal development and the progress of the institution.
