The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has once again achieved impressive results at the national level. Three students from the Medical Education Study Program (PSPD) class of 2023, Achmad Khidir Afandi, Indra Hidayah, and Devina Reva Ananta, achieved this feat. They successfully demonstrated their competence and creativity in a prestigious national competition.
This success was achieved in the competition National Emergency Competition 2026 held by the University of Jember on April 11, 2026. In this event, the FKIK UIN Malang team won second place in the public poster category. This competition was attended by various universities across Indonesia, so this achievement is a testament to the quality and competitiveness of FKIK students at the national level.

The posters presented by the teams addressed themes relevant to health emergencies, using an educational and innovative approach. Assessment in this category included scientific merit, design creativity, and the ability to effectively convey the message to the public. The teams' strengths lay in the combination of applicable ideas and compelling visualizations.
Throughout the preparation and implementation of the competition, the team received guidance from Dr. Riskiyah, MMRS. The mentor's role was crucial in guiding the concept, developing materials, and developing presentation strategies. This support was a key factor in the team's success in achieving this achievement.

Team leader Achmad Khidir Afandi expressed his hope that this achievement would motivate other students to continue achieving and contributing at the national and international levels. He also expressed his hope that FKIK UIN Malang would continue to produce outstanding, innovative students capable of making a positive impact on society, particularly in the health sector.
