At the end of October (October 23-24, 2021), the Ministry of Student Resource Development (PSDM) and the Ministry of Strategic Studies (Kastrat) collaborated to hold a highly beneficial event for students. This event is expected to foster good character and produce high-quality students.
LKMM-TD, or Basic Student Management Skills Training, is the first local LKMM training program held in every Medical Education study program throughout Indonesia. This event is intended for all new students in 2021 as a means of providing basic communication skills, identifying self-potential, and developing creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.
LKMM-TD invited 5 speakers from internal and external sources who are relevant to their fields. The first material on Self-Management, Time, and Priority was delivered by M. Syifa' Haykal Azizi as Deputy Chairperson 2 of HMPPD. The second material, namely ISMKI Nationalism, was delivered by Wa Ode Sry rezeky Amal as Secretary of Region 4 of ISMKI. The third material, namely Intrapersonal Problem and Conflict Management, was presented by Dhiaz Taupiq Anwari as Chairperson of HMPPD. The fourth material was Community Service by Juneartycha Tanesib as Deputy Secretary for Community Empowerment of ISMKI. Then the last one, namely My Contribution to Campus, Society, and Country by M. Daffa Athallah as the outgoing Minister of Human Resources Development of HMPPD.
School of Kastrat: Improving the quality of students who are solution-oriented and critical
The HMPPD UIN Malang Kastrat held an activity School of Kastrat This activity, held concurrently with the LKMM-TD program, was attended by new students of the 2021 Medical Education Study Program.
Why should this School of Kastrat be implemented?
School of Kastrat It is an activity that aims to develop students, in this case medical students (FK) to understand the spirit of the student movement and be able to implement the function of strategic studies and actions (Kastrat) as a basis for thinking in fighting for national and state values based on Pancasila.
Apart from that, another purpose of holding this event is School of Kastrat This is to carry out the cadre formation process in institutions and regions under the auspices of the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI), to revive the movement by instilling the spirit of student movement and explaining the castrate mindset in analyzing everything around students, namely potential issues in both health and non-health fields.
