Saturday, October 25, 2025 – In order to commemorate the 64th Maulidiyah Anniversary, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang through the Semi-Autonomous Body (BSO) Rhazes Medical Team again held the 2025 Mass Circumcision, Saturday (25/10), at the Ar-Rahim Building, Campus 3, FKIK UIN Malang, Jalan Locari, Tlekung, Junrejo, Batu City.
This mass circumcision event is an annual event that has been held since 2018. This year marks the eighth such event and the first time it has been held at the Ar-Rahim Building at UIN Malang. In addition to commemorating the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, the event also aims to introduce the new FKIK building to the surrounding community.
This activity involved a number of professional health workers, including specialist doctors from Karsa Husada Batu Regional Hospital, such as Dr. Christyaji Indradmojo, Sp.EM, Dr. Muhammad Fachri Fauzi, Sp.U, and several other medical personnel. This is an effort to ensure safe and quality healthcare for participants. This activity was attended by 17 children who met predetermined medical criteria. The series of activities included registration, pre-operative examination (pre-op), surgical action (during), to post-operative care (post-op), which was prepared entirely over a full month.

In her remarks, Dr. dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M. Biomed as the representative of the rector and dean of FKIK UIN Malang, expressed her appreciation for the implementation of this activity.
“"This program is part of the UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Anniversary celebrations. We hope that the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the area of community service, can continue to be maintained to empower the surrounding community. We also thank the parents of the participants for their trust in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang," he said.
Furthermore, Dr. dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M. Biomed added that activities like this are a concrete form of university synergy in improving public health and realizing the vision of "smart, harmonious, and prosperous Indonesia.".
This mass circumcision is not just an annual social event, but also a direct learning platform for medical students and a tangible form of community service from the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Malang. It is hoped that this activity will foster a spirit of caring, professionalism, and improve the quality of healthcare services.
