Malang (November 12, 2025) — Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang through Faculty Student Election Commission (KPRM) successfully held activities Dialogic Campaign for the Candidates for Chair and Vice Chair of the DEMA FKIK, the Pharmacy Study Program Student Association (HMPSF), and the Medical Education Study Program Student Association (HMPPD).

The event took place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in Ar-Rahim Mini Hall, 3rd floor This was attended by more than 50 participants in person (offline) and around 20 participants online through the faculty's digital platform. This high attendance reflects the enthusiasm of FKIK students in welcoming the internal democratic celebration held each student leadership period.

By carrying the theme “"Building a Generation of Health Professionals with Integrity and Innovation through Active Dialogue and Student Participation for a Superior and Competitive Faculty,"” This dialogical campaign activity aims to open up space for dialogue and exchange of ideas between prospective student organization leaders and all FKIK students.

The activity was officially opened by representatives of the committee from the Faculty Student Election Commission, Ilham Wahyu Ardiawan, who in his speech emphasized that the dialogical campaign is not just an election agenda, but also a means of political education and campus democracy that is ethical, participatory, and has academic value.

“"We want to provide a healthy, open, and educational forum. Students must learn to debate politely, present ideas with evidence, and respect differing views as part of the process of learning democracy," Ilham said in his remarks.

During the event, all candidate pairs presented their visions, missions, and work programs focused on organizational progress, strengthening student participation, and developing health sciences. The candidates were also given the opportunity to answer questions from participants, both in person and online. Most of the questions focused on work program transparency, cross-study collaboration, and strengthening student activities at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK).

The forum is underway conducive, interactive, and full of intellectual enthusiasm. The students actively engaged in a warm, dynamic, and productive dialogue. The lecturers and educational staff from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) in attendance expressed their appreciation for the students' maturity in expressing their ideas politely and argumentatively.

This activity is expected to produce future student leaders who are not only skilled in organizational management but also possess integrity, national insight, and a strong sense of social concern. This forum also serves as a crucial opportunity to reinforce Islamic leadership values grounded in the spirit of the head of the family— critical thinking, social spirit, and noble character.

“"The implementation of this dialogic campaign demonstrates that FKIK students are capable of presenting a polite and dignified democratic process. Hopefully, the elected leader will be able to bring positive change and make FKIK student organizations a platform for superior and competitive self-development," said one of the FKIK student affairs advisors on a separate occasion.

The dialogic campaign concluded with a group photo session with all candidate pairs, the KPRM committee, and representatives of faculty and students. This moment marked the end of a series of successful, peaceful, and familial activities—reflecting the spirit of FKIK students in realizing a healthy, inclusive, and educational campus democracy.
