The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang hosted the AKFNI Dean's Forum on February 24-26, 2023. This event is a routine activity organized by the Association of Indonesian State Medical Faculties (AFKNI). "Anticipation of State Medical Faculties in Preparing Human Resources in the Era of Health Transformation in the Health Human Resources Sector" was chosen as the theme and major issue to be discussed in the 2023 fordek. The entire series of activities were held at FKIK UIN Malang and Hotel Senyum.
The opening of the 2023 AKFNI Fordek activity was held on Friday, February 23, 2023. Taking place at Campus III, FKIK UIN Malang, this activity began with a friendly gathering or Campus Tour Stage 1. The fordek participants toured Campus III, including classrooms, laboratories, CBT rooms, and the library. The event continued with the fordek being mobilized to the Senyum Hotel for the implementation of the training. welcoming participants.

Interestingly, in the fordek held at FKIK UIN Malang this time, the launch of the AFKNI Mars was carried out. Led by Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG., Ph.D, Founder of AFKNI, Prof. Dr. dr. H. Ari Fahrial Syam, SpPD-KGEH, MMB, FINASIM, FACP, Chairman of AFKNI, Prof. Dr. M. Zainuddin, MA, Rector of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, and Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW. M. Kes, Sp.Rad(K), Dean of FKIK Rector of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
The activity continued with 4 sessions sharing. In the first session, the theme was “University Support for Increasing Medical Student Quotas” delivered by Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG., Ph.D., Rector of Gadjah Mada University who is also the founder of AFKNI. The second session, which was conducted online, was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Sofwan Effendi, M. Ed, Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, with the theme “Improving Lecturer Human Resources to Increase Medical Student Quotas”. Then, the third sharing session with the theme “New Regulations in the Promotion of Functional Positions” delivered by Prof. Dr. dr. Loeki Enggar Fitri, M.Kes., S.ParK., Professor of the Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University. And finally, the fourth session will be delivered by Prof. Dr. dr. Loeki Enggar Fitri, M.Kes., S.ParK. with the theme “Hybrid Specialist Education”.
The AFKNI Deans' Forum activities will be continued with a Bromo Trip and Gala Dinner which will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023. It is hoped that this activity will run smoothly and through this activity it is hoped that clear joint achievement targets will be born to be realized together.
