FKIK Event in Action and Bloody (blood donation) as part of community service was successfully held on Saturday, October 21, 2023. This activity is a collaboration between Student Organizations (ORMAWA) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Maulana State Islamic University, UIN Malang (FKIK UINMA), such as: DEMA, HMPSF, HMPPD, CALVARIA, RMT, AMSA and several volunteers who participated. FKIK Beraksi is screening health services that include health checks to help the public identify potential health problems, provide information, and provide referrals for further treatment if needed. In addition, Bloody Blood donation is an important step in helping maintain blood supplies for patients who need it in medical emergencies or for treatment. This activity is aimed at the surrounding community at Campus III of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Malang, on Locari-Tlekung Street, Junrejo District, Batu City, and is aimed at all groups, especially teenagers and the elderly.

The event was held at 07.00 – 12.00 WIB, which was opened directly by the Deputy Dean of UIN Malang. “"This event is a concrete form of UIN's concern for the community around campus 3, it is hoped that this event will be a form of our approach to them. Hopefully it will be a charity for the lecturers and an experience for students to provide services to the community because one of the messages that health students must have is being able to provide health services to the community, this event is a form of learning to provide services to the community," said Ach. Nashichuddin, MA. as Deputy Dean II of FKIK UIN Malang..

On this occasion, the community service activities included two agendas divided into several sections: health checks, including blood pressure measurements, blood sugar measurements, and uric acid measurements, as well as consultations with doctors. This aimed to provide information covering the health checks the community had undergone. Furthermore, the community was very enthusiastic and eager to undergo the check-ups, as they were able to identify potential health problems and realize the importance of regular health monitoring. The next agenda item was: Bloody (blood donor), before donating blood, the donor's blood pressure and blood type are checked.

One of the statements that reflects the enthusiasm and appreciation for the purpose of holding this activity was from the local Village Head who said, "I am very happy that this event is being held, which is very helpful, especially for the elderly, so that they know and can... aware "I'm very grateful for the support I received from her regarding her health complaints. I hope this can be implemented again in the coming years," said Ririn Catur Kurnia Sasi, S.pd., Head of Sumbersekar Village, Dau District, Batu City.


With the same goal, this activity is a real form of FKIK UINMA's commitment to providing a positive contribution to the surrounding community through free health services and blood donation. Hopefully, this activity will raise public awareness of the importance of healthcare and further strengthen positive relationships between the university and the surrounding community, benefiting everyone.
