The Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang held a prayer meeting for the late Ibra Setiawan.

Rock – A sense of grief enveloped the extended family of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. As a final tribute and expression of deep condolences, the FKIK Student Executive Council (DEMA) held an online prayer service via Zoom on Friday evening (May 1, 2026).

This event was specifically aimed at praying for one of their best sons, Ibra Setiawan, a Medical Education Study Program (PSPD) student from the class of 2024 who has passed away. Although held virtually, a wave of empathy and a profound sense of loss united hundreds of academics, colleagues, and lecturers in one solemn forum.

The event, initiated by the FKIK Student Executive Board (DEMA), took place with great solemnity. The program opened with a congregational recitation of Surah Yasin. The recitation of the holy Quranic verses echoed through the silence of the night, as if prefacing prayers for the deceased. Following the Yasin recitation, the program continued with a tahlil prayer, which was humbly recited by all participants, asking for forgiveness and a place in the best place for the deceased in the sight of Allah SWT.

In addition to the prayer reading, the event also included remarks from the Head of the Medical Education Study Program (PSPD), Dr. drg. Risma Aprinda Kristanti, M.Si. On that occasion, she offered a message of condolence and encouragement to the students who felt the loss. However, the main focus of the evening remained the essence of the collective prayer, namely sending good wishes for the deceased to find rest. good ending and his grave was made wider.

The hundreds of attendees, including fellow students and faculty, testified to the late man's lasting impact on campus. The event, which began promptly at 7:00 p.m. WIB, concluded with a closing prayer, expressing hope that the spirit of kindness instilled by the late man during his studies at the PSPD FKIK UIN Malang would become a continuing charity.

Through this momentum, the FKIK Student Association (DEMA FKIK) hopes that all campus elements can continue to maintain the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity, especially in the face of difficult situations and loss such as the current one. The FKIK UIN Malang family unanimously affirms the prayer that the late Ibra Setiawan will be placed in heaven and will always be under the protection and love of Allah SWT.
