Malang, June 5, 2025 – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang once again held a sacrifice event to celebrate Eid al-Adha 1446 H (2025 AD). This year, the event took place solemnly, with the slaughter of eight goats and one cow.
This activity was led directly by Mr. Saiful Hikmah, S.Ag., Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Subdivision of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang. He assisted in coordinating the students and community members during the sacrificial slaughtering ceremony.
During the event, technical supervision and health of the sacrificial animals were carried out by Dr. Christyaji Indradmojo, Sp.EM, a lecturer in the Medical Education Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang. This ensured that each slaughtering process was carried out in a focused manner and in accordance with Islamic standards.

Some FKIK students actively participated in the slaughtering and distribution of sacrificial meat to residents around the campus and some students. The distribution of the sacrificial meat was carried out evenly as a form of social responsibility and direct concern for the surrounding environment.
“"We carry out this sacrificial activity every year as a forum to strengthen togetherness between students, lecturers, and the community, especially the community around the FKIK campus," said Mr. Saiful as the chairman of the committee.

In addition to the slaughtering and sharing of sacrificial meat, students and the community also enlivened the event by cooking and eating together, so that this activity also became an educational tool to increase social sensitivity for students, in line with the scientific and humanitarian values upheld by FKIK.
