Benchmarking the Management Governance of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang to the Faculty of Medicine, University of Mataram

Wednesday (26/10), representatives of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang consisting of elements of faculty leadership, study programs, lecturers and education staff, visited the Faculty of Medicine, Mataram University (FK Unram) in the context of a comparative study of faculty governance management.

The group was received directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, the Vice Dean, the Head of the Medical Education Study Program, the Head of the Medical Profession Study Program, and the Head of the Pharmacy Study Program. The comparative study program was held with an opening by the MC and remarks from both parties. The first remarks were delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Hamsu Kadriyan, Sp.THT-KL(K). In his remarks, he expressed his gratitude and pleasure for the arrival of the FKIK UIN Malang group in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. "Hopefully a solid collaboration will be established between the Faculty of Medicine, Unram, and friends from the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Malang," he added. The Faculty of Medicine, UIN Malang, represented by the Deputy Dean 1 for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF., M.Kes, expressed his gratitude for being well received in Mataram. Prof. Iha also explained the purpose and objective of the visit of the FKIK UIN Malang group, namely in order to sharing and gain knowledge, particularly in the aspects of faculty governance and management. "Of course, as a relatively young medical faculty, we need to learn a lot from other medical faculties that have well established, including FK Unram," said Prof. Iha. It should be noted that the Medical Education and Medical Profession Study Program of FK Unram has successfully achieved the Excellent accreditation predicate. The Comparative Study/Benchmarking activity of FKIK UIN Malang to FK Unram took place with presentations from the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Secretary of the Medical Education Study Program, Head of the Medical Profession Study Program, and Head of the Pharmacy Study Program. After that, an open discussion session was opened between FK Unram and FKIK UIN Malang. The discussion session was led directly by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance of FK Unram, dr. Ima Arum Lestarini, Sp.PK., M.Si.Med and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FK Unram, dr. Arfi Syamsun, Sp.KF., M.Si.Med.
