On Saturday, May 9, 2026, an institutional visit and student organization gathering activity was carried out in the context of the MEDICARE X METASTASIS 2026 activity which was attended by DEMA FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang together with BEM KM FK Universitas Airlangga and BEM FK Universitas Jember. This activity was held at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University and was attended by the ranks of student organization administrators and institutional assistants from each institution.

In this activity, the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as the advisor of DEMA FKIK UIN Malang was also present and received a warm welcome from the leadership and students of the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University as a form of institutional support for the development of student organization capacity, strengthening inter-institutional networks, and improving the quality of student leadership in the university environment.

The series of activities began with an official welcome for the DEMA FKIK UIN Malang delegation by the BEM KM FK Universitas Airlangga, the host. The welcome was warm and familial, a gesture of appreciation for the strong relationship between student organizations in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The event then continued with remarks from representatives of each institution. In his remarks, the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, said, "Through this activity, I hope to build strong synergy, communication, and collaboration among health students so that they can create organizations that are progressive, adaptive, and make real contributions to society." The presence of institutional mentors also serves as a form of strengthening the value of organizational development so that students are able to develop leadership, managerial, and social competencies in a balanced manner.

As a symbol of respect and strengthening institutional relations, a plaque was presented by the advisors of the Student Executive Board (BEM KM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University, to representatives of the Student Executive Board (DEMA) of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, which was received by the Deputy Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Malang. The plaque presentation signified the good relationship, collaborative spirit, and shared commitment to building a sustainable network of health student organizations.

In addition to the ceremonial agenda, the event also included discussion and sharing sessions on organizational management, work program implementation, student resource development, and strengthening student roles in academics, community service, and health advocacy. This forum is expected to foster an exchange of insights and experiences that can inspire organizational development at each institution.

With the implementation of this MEDICARE X METASTASIS activity, it is hoped that the relationship and cooperation between DEMA FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, BEM KM FK Universitas Airlangga, and BEM FK Universitas Jember can continue to be well maintained and have a positive impact on the development of health student organizations in the future.
