Celebrating birthdays is usually an appropriate occasion to express gratitude to Allah SWT for the blessings and gifts bestowed upon us. This gratitude can be expressed through thanksgiving ceremonies and the provision of charitable gifts to orphans. This is more or less how the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKH) does this. Friday (24/06/2022), FKIK UIN Malang held an event entitled Grand Thanksgiving in front of the Medical Building, Campus 3 State Islamic University of Malang. The Grand Thanksgiving is an activity to express gratitude and share happiness at FKIK. State Islamic University of Malang In order to improve the accreditation results and the 6th Anniversary of FKIK Maulidiyah. This event was attended by a number of important invited guests, starting from representatives of IOM (Parents of Students Association), representatives of Karsa Husada Batu Regional Hospital, the Dean of FKIK, to representatives of the rectorate. State Islamic University of Malang. He gave a welcoming speech followed by a joint prayer.

Next, the main event included the cutting of the tumpeng (rice cone) led by Prof. Yuyun, Dean of FKIK, and the distribution of donations to orphans accompanied by the strains of the Al-Banjari prayer. A video presentation from the students added to the solemn atmosphere of the event. The presentation was dedicated to the lecturers who have guided and imparted their knowledge. Accompanied by the teacher's hymn, which was sung alternately, the video presented photographs as symbols of the precious memories shared.

In his remarks, Prof. Yuyun stated that the students are a responsibility worth fighting for. "We will strive to ensure that the children (read: FKIK students) can graduate well and achieve their dreams." "They can become civil servants, continue their master's studies directly, go to specialist schools, and so on as long as they remain trustworthy doctors and have the character of Ulul Albab," he added. Support also came from the Main Teaching Hospital, namely RSUD Karsa Husada Kota Batu, which on this occasion was represented by Dr. Bambang Rishardana, Sp.B. He prayed that on the next accreditation occasion, FKIK State Islamic University of Malang will achieve Superior status. Not to be missed, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Salik, M.Ag., as the IOM representative, also prayed, "May Allah SWT always provide ease to develop FKIK to be even greater in the future, Amen“.

Happy 6th Maulidiyah Anniversary, FKIK State Islamic University of Malang. Hopefully, it will continue to excel and produce graduates who are Ulul Albab doctors and pharmacists.
