For the first time, FKIK UIN Malang hosted the AIPKI Region 5 Question Making and Review activity covering East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara, which took place on March 17-18, 2023, at the Singhasari Hotel, Batu City. The meeting was attended by 19 delegates from the Faculty of Medicine, which are included in AIPKI Region 5, each of which sent 2 delegates consisting of 1 IBA from the Faculty of Medicine and Experts/Specialists in each field of medical science. Also present were Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, M.Kes, Sp.Rad (K) as the Chairperson of AIPKI Region V East Java and Dean of FKIK UIN Malang and Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes as the Chairperson (Bank Administrator Item) IBA AIPKI Region V. This activity aims to improve and maintain the quantity and quality of questions in the competency exam for medical professional education students (UKMPPD), and at the same time share experiences on how to create quality questions.
“"We would like to say to the delegates who have come here, this is the first time that UIN Malang has hosted a question review activity to prepare national exam questions for our students and thank God UIN has only graduated Doctors once, for that reason we still have a lot to learn from the seniors who are present here," said the Head of AIPKI Region 5 and Dean of FKIK, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, M.Kes, Sp.Rad (K).
This event also invited 2 speakers, namely Dr.. Roostantia Indrawati, M.Kes, on how to write and review good questions. The second speaker, Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes, presented on the use of the AIPKI Question Bank application, explaining the easy-to-use application for inputting and reviewing questions and the steps for using it.
The IBA AIPKI Region 5 activities continued in the evening with Night Gathering This event served as a platform for networking between AIPKI Regional administrators and participants, as well as a report from the regional IBA on the number of questions reviewed and accepted.
