Thursday (12/1/2023) The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences held the Graduation Ceremony of the Doctor's Profession Study Program and the First Class of Doctors' Oath-Taking. The solemn moment was held in the 5th Floor Hall, Rectorate Building, DR. Ir. Soekarno. 16 doctors consisting of 13 female doctors and 3 male doctors have taken the doctor's oath which marked the completion of their education at the FKIK UIN Malang. The activity was attended by the Head of the PSPD Study Program, the Head of the Doctor's Profession Study Program, the Dean of FKIK, the Director of Karsa Husada Hospital, Lawang Mental Hospital, and Saiful Anwar Malang Regional Hospital, the Komkordik of Karsa Husada Hospital, the ranks of the Rector of UIN Malang, the Head of the Class 1 Surabaya Port Health Office, the Head of the IDI of East Java Province, the Head of the IDI of Malang City, and the clergy. .
The event began with an opening by the MC, then continued with the reading of the holy verses of the Quran and singing the song Indonesia Raya. After that, the reading of the Judicial Decree was carried out by Dr. Yuliono Trika Nur Hasan, Sp. M. It should be noted beforehand that the doctors who will be sworn in have taken the Student Competency Examination for the Medical Professional Program (UKMPPD) on November 16, 2022 and the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) on November 26, 2022, at Campus III, FKIK UIN Malang with a passing result of 100%.
The sacred activity solemnly began with the participants entering the doctor's oath room. Then the doctor's oath was led by the Dean of the FKIK UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, PW., M. Kes., Sp.Rad(K). It was followed by the oath confirmation by the clergyman, Dr. HM Aunul Hakim, S.Ag., MH. After that, the Gordon necklace was draped and the participants signed the Doctor's Oath.
The next event was the speeches. The first speech was delivered by the Director of Karsa Husada Regional Hospital. The second speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Malang. The third speech was delivered by the Rector of UIN Malang. Finally, the fourth speech was delivered by a representative of the medical oath participants.
In his speech, Dr.. Muhammad Rizal, MM, M. Kes., as the director of Karsa Husada Regional Hospital, congratulated the first class of doctors graduating from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang. He stated that the first class, which is also the class of `Covid` This group possesses an extraordinary fighting spirit. In the future, it is hoped that the graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Malang will be able to meet the need for doctors in Indonesia.
In her closing remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Yuyun Yuniwati, emphasized to all new doctors, "Fight for humanity wherever you are. Starting from your desk chair and inpatient bed. Because that is the essence of today's medical oath. All over the world, our medical oath is the same. Primum non nocere. First, do no harm,"” said Prof. Yuyun.
The final remarks were given by the Rector of UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. HM Zainuddin, MA. In his remarks, he advised the 16 doctors who had sworn in today to always uphold the Doctor's Oath that had been taken and maintain the good name of UIN Malang as an internationally reputable PTKIN.
