Tuesday (14/6/2022), Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang (UIN Malang) held a Journalism & Multimedia Workshop. Held in the 3rd Floor of the Al-Biruni Building (Pharmacy Study Program) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang, the event was held from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. WIB. The event was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, lecturers, and FKIK students. State Islamic University of Malang and participants from various fields State Islamic University of Malang and general.
Journalism & Multimedia Workshop with the theme "“Self-actualization towards Bright Future through Journalism”"presenting two speakers, namely, Irham Thoriq, S.Psi. (CEO of Tugu Media Group), Naufan Noordyanto, S.Sn., M.Sn.
(DKV Lecturer, Surabaya Institute of Technology), and attended by the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati Prabowowati Wadjib, M.Kes., Sp. Rad(K) along with the Deputy Dean 3 for Student Affairs and Cooperation, dr. Alvi Miliana, M.Biomed. In his remarks, the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang said that the graduation predicate cum laude does not always guarantee the future of the bearer, but anything soft skills that he possesses. In line with this statement, Apt. Alif Firman Firdausy, S.Farm., M.Biomed, as Head of the Public Relations, Protocol, and Cooperation Unit of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, said, "As we know, many FKIK students are talented and interested in non-academic areas. This needs to be supported by creating relevant platforms for them to hone their talents.".
The holding of this workshop is not only trigger Not only for students but also for all teaching staff at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, to be more active in writing and creating effective learning media. Furthermore,

One of the speakers on the Journalism theme, Irham Thoriq, said, "Familiarizing ourselves with deadline is a form of effort to increase one's capacity towards becoming a strong individual.".
The implementation of this workshop provides insight positive feedback to all participants, the majority of whom have backgrounds in the health sector. "The skill of presenting information in an engaging and accessible way is essential for everyone, including academics and health practitioners," said Naufan Noordyanto, a lecturer in Visual Communication Design at ITS and one of the speakers at the workshop.
Ultimately, through this workshop, it is hoped that participants will gain upgraded skills in writing news and creating good digital content.
