The new academic year 2020/2021 will soon begin. As in previous years, the new academic year will open with a series of activities to introduce Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) for prospective new students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. PBAK at the UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang level is planned to be held from September 11 to September 13, 2020. Specifically on September 12, 2020, a PBAK event will be held at the respective Faculty level (PBAK-F).

The implementation of PBAK at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (PBAK-FKIK) UIN Malang in 2020 was different from the previous year's PBAK-FKIK, where during the pandemic, the PBAK implementation was carried out online. PBAK-FKIK 2020 was titled "TAARUF" which is an acronym for the Alma Mater and Academic Tour of New Students of FKIK UIN Malang. The 2020 TAARUF event raised the theme of Adaptation to New Habits (AKB) and the Green Campus Concept. In the 2020 TAARUF event, prospective new students will be invited to experience the academic atmosphere on the FKIK campus while understanding more about how to get used to living in harmony with nature while still being able to adapt to the new normal era wherever FKIK students are. 

The 2020 TAARUF event will begin on September 7, 2020 and will be ceremonially opened on September 12, 2020, and will be closed on September 19, 2020. During the above period, prospective new students will receive materials, assignments, and mentoring with a combination of synchronous methods (face-to-face in real time) and asynchronous methods (delayed delivery of materials) related to the introduction of academic and student culture activities at FKIK UIN Malang.
