The 2023 Introduction to Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) event at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, continued until its second day on Thursday, August 24, 2023, in the 4th-floor auditorium of the UIN Malang Campus 2 Shelter. This second day marked the final and closing day.
On the second day's agenda after the opening, an ethics socialization session was held, delivered by the chairman of the FKIK professional ethics commission, drg. Arief Suryadinata, Sp.Ort. "I remind you all that we at FKIK have a professional ethics commission unit, so for those of you or the academic community who commit violations, we will process them and I assure you that the perpetrators will receive punishment, you also need to know who gives punishment "Not directly from the ethics commission, we only recommend it to the dean and the dean will approve it," said Drg. Arief firmly.
After the ethics socialization, new students were also introduced to all student organizations (ORMAWA), representatives of these student organizations socialized about their organizations and each division's work program. Starting with the introduction of the Safir Safirah Ambassador of FKIK and the 2023 FKIK Press Team, then continued with student organizations by the Student Senate (SEMA), then socialization by the Student Executive Council (DEMA), the Semi-Autonomous Institute of Arts and Sports (LSO SENIOR). The Semi-Autonomous Body of the Asian Medical Students' Association (BSO AMSA), the Semi-Autonomous Body of the Islamic Discussion Forum (BSO FDI), and then the introduction of departmental association organizations starting from the Pharmacy Study Program Student Association (HMPSF), the Medical Education Study Program Student Association (HMPPD) and its Semi-Autonomous Bodies (BSO Rhazes Medical Team, BSO Calvaria, BSO Averroes). All ORMAWA also established booth stand In front of the event room as a form of visual introduction, the students of this organization displayed the distinctive attributes of each of their organizations, and some also sold food.
In the afternoon, the material was delivered Character Building by Lieutenant Colonel Arh Sriyanto, S.Sos., MH, MM with the theme "Strengthening the Spirit of Leadership and National Commitment as an Effort to Strengthen the Principles of Religious Moderation". The activity was guided by moderator Naila Riezqi S. who is also the chair of the 2023 PBAK committee. In delivering his material, Lieutenant Colonel Sriyanto occasionally during the discussion cheered the jargon of young nakula PBAK FKIK with new student participants. At the end of his presentation, Lieutenant Colonel Sriyanto conveyed evidence that someone is said to have a good leadership spirit "If you work with enthusiasm according to the priority scale and are confident and able to provide a beneficial influence for others, it is proof that you already have a leadership spirit," said Lieutenant Colonel Sriyanto. At the end of the session, the new students enthusiastically carried out questions and answers with the speaker. dr. Alvi Milliana, M.Biomed as the Person in Charge of PBAK 2023 Activities gave vandals and certificates to Lieutenant Colonel Sriyanto.
The excitement of the event continued until the end of the closing agenda and the announcement of the best male and female new students and the best group, where the closing was attended by the Dean, faculty leaders and study programs. Masyayu Maysa Az Zahra was selected as the best female participant and Raden Moch Satrio Siliwangi Syariffatihmulia Negara was selected as the best male participant, the awarding of the best participant's vendel prize was handed over directly by the dean of FKIK Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M. Kes., Sp.Rad (K), and for the best and most active group won by group 6 Microbiology where the awarding of the prize was given by the Deputy Dean 1 for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. apt. Roihatul Mutiah, SF., M.Kes.
At the end after the closing, the new student participants were very enthusiastic about contributing to appear on stage showcasing their talents in groups such as singing, poetry musicalization, short drama parodies, playing guitar and playing drums online.Â
