Malang, February 24, 2025 – The Secretary General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Phil. H. Kamaruddin Amin, MA, paid an official visit to the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) Campus III, UIN Malang. This visit marked a significant milestone for FKIK UIN Malang in strengthening its relationship with the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Prof. Dr. H. Zainuddin, MA, as the Rector of UIN Malang, warmly welcomed the Secretary General. In his remarks, he stated that the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang will soon be moving from its old building to the Arrahim Building. He also hoped that this visit would be beneficial for both parties, particularly in developing FKIK as a more advanced educational institution.

Prof. Kamaruddin expressed his appreciation for the welcome and explained that his visit was brief due to a busy schedule, which included a planned trip to Surabaya. Nevertheless, he expressed his hope that the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang would continue to develop and make tangible contributions to the community.

As part of the visit, Prof. Kamaruddin also signed a plaque to officially name the new FKIK building, the Ibnu Sina Building. This inauguration symbolizes FKIK UIN Malang's commitment to improving the quality of education and becoming one of Indonesia's leading institutions in the fields of medicine and health sciences.
Furthermore, it is hoped that FKIK UIN Malang will continue to improve the quality of its academics, research, and health services, oriented towards the public good. Similar hopes are also expressed for UIN Malang as a whole, so that it can further develop as a center of knowledge with superior Islamic integration, both nationally and internationally.
