The Pharmacy Study Program was established based on the decision of the Director General of Islamic Education Number 2753 of 2012 dated December 17, 2012. Initially, Pharmacy was under the Faculty of Science and Technology, since March 28, 2016 the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education issued Decree Number 126//KPT/I/2016 concerning the opening of the Doctor Education and Doctoral Profession study program at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, and since January 17, 2017, Pharmacy has been officially incorporated into the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences with the Decree of the Rector of UIN Malang Npmpr Un.3/PP.00.9/314/2017 dated January 17, 2017.
