A cooperation agreement was signed between the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and RSU Karsa Husada Batu City on August 19, 2020, at the 3rd Floor Auditorium of Karsa Husada General Hospital (RSU) in Batu City on August 19, 2020. This agreement aligns with the goal of FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to provide Bachelor and Professional degrees in Medicine and Health to meet the needs of the community.

The collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and Karsa Husada Hospital in Batu City is in the field of education, specifically as the Main Teaching Hospital for students of the Medical Professional Study Program. This also aligns with one of Karsa Husada Hospital's missions in Batu City, namely to establish the general hospital as a Class B teaching hospital.

The Medical Profession Study Program is a professional stage in medical education, implemented through clinical and community learning, aimed at meeting students' competencies before being certified as doctors. Medical Profession students will undertake clinical learning at Karsa Husada General Hospital in Batu City.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out by the director of Karsa Husada Hospital, Batu City, Dr. Tries Anggraini, M. Kes and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M.Kes, Sp.Rad(K). This event was also attended by the Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development of UIN Malang, Dr. Uril Bahruddin, MA. It is hoped that after this collaboration, it can improve the educational capabilities and competencies of doctors who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
