The hot sun did not hinder the morning enthusiasm to fulfill the desires of the participants to attend the 2023 FKIK Open House event. No less interesting than the previous year with the theme 'Towards KAPADOKIA', now the 2023 FKIK Open House with a new nuance is present in the form of an event at the 2023 FKIK Carnival with the theme "Bring The Heat and Burn Your Spirit". The wait for the time from the Covid-19 pandemic which could only be done online, until now can be present again in person offline. The 2023 FKIK Carnival Open House was held by inviting high school/Islamic high school/equivalent students in Malang and Batu. "After conducting outreach outside Java, the next step for the areas around Malang or Batu is to hold the 2023 FKIK Open House event which will be attended by both teachers and students with the hope of getting to know FKIK directly in terms of location, facilities, buildings, infrastructure, and environment," said Mrs. Apt. Novia Maulina, M.Farm as the person in charge of the 2023 FKIK Open House.
The hard work of the committee, the FKIK sapphires, and the guidance of Apt. Fathia Faza Rahmadanita, S.Farm., M.Farm.Klin. as the division coordinator of the FKIK Open House 2023 was successfully held with great enthusiasm. The series of events included: Campus Tour guided by Safir Safirah FKIK to students with the aim of getting to know more closely, both the Pharmacy study program located in the Al-Biruni Building and the Medical Education study program located in the Ibnu Sina Building. Students from SMA Sabilillah Malang, SMAN 1 Batu, SMAN 7 Malang, MAN Kota Batu, SMAN 2 Batu, SMK Farmasi Maharani Malang and SMA Ar-Rohmah Malang toured to see the condition of the classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and other important rooms in the world of lectures.
“"In the future, hopefully the FKIK Open House will continue to be held with even more enthusiasm to attract high school/Islamic high school/equivalent students to get to know the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences better," this is the hope of Dr. Alvi Milliana, M.Biomed as Vice Dean 3 for Student Affairs and Cooperation and as Advisor for the 2023 FKIK Carnival activities. In this event, students were also given more knowledge about FKIK by visiting the Public Relations booth as Information Center which provides brochures, videos company profile, banners, and also accompanied by Safir Safirah FKIK. Not only that, the public relations booth provided a quiz with prizes for participants and a registration form post test. Furthermore, the best results were awarded on the stage of honor at the 2023 FKIK CARNIVAL, which was successfully achieved by representatives from Maharani Pharmacy Vocational School, Batu 1 State Senior High School, and Malang 7 State Senior High School.
