Introduction to Campus Academic Culture in the Era of Adapting to New Habits: TAARUF 2020

A total of 193 new students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Malang from the 2020-2021 academic year participated in the Alma Mater and Academic Tour for New Students (TAARUF) FKIK UIN Malang synchronously via Zoom (Saturday, 12/9). The campus orientation took place in the mini hall on the 1st floor of the Ibnu Thufail Building, Campus 3, FKIK UIN Malang. This activity is part of a series of synchronous and asynchronous events, where the asynchronous event began on September 7, 2020.

The 2020 Taaruf event was attended by the Dean of FKIK, Prof. Dr. Yuyun Yueniawati PW. M.Kes., Rad(K), then the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean for General Administration, Planning and Finance, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Head of Study Program and Secretary of Study Program of the department and the Committee.

The new student admission process was carried out by pinning alma mater jackets to two new student representatives from the Pharmacy Study Program and the Medical Study Program by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Medicine. In his remarks, he congratulated and congratulated the new students who had strived to become FKIK UIN Malang students. "This process is certainly not easy because it requires getting the best grades out of several thousand prospective new students. We should be grateful and enthusiastic about working together with our classmates to graduate together and achieve academic and non-academic achievements," he hoped.

Other events at TAARUF 2020 synchronously 1 include questions and answers regarding faculty services, including academic, financial and student services, profiles and questions and answers about each study program, as well as character building.
