Implementation of Health Tests for Prospective FKIK Students for the 2017/2018 Academic Year

Tuesday, May 2, 2017 A medical examination for prospective students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang was held as part of the university entrance selection process through the National Selection for State Universities (SNPTN) for the 2017/2018 academic year. The medical examination was conducted at the Dr. Soepraoen II Kindergarten Hospital, Jl. Soedanco Supriadi No. 22, Malang City, from 06.30 to 15.00 WIB.

Prospective students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang who passed the SBMPTN (National Selection for State Universities) yesterday are required to take a Health Test to determine their psychological and physical readiness for the upcoming learning process. This includes 15 prospective students in the Medical Education Study Program and 38 prospective students in Pharmacy.

The selection process for prospective FKIK students consists of a Physical Examination Test (Physical Health) which includes the absence of motor organ disabilities, no color blindness, either total or partial, and no deafness. Mental health/MMPI includes no predisposition to schizophrenia and no drug use. The results of the examination will be used as a consideration for whether or not prospective students will be accepted into the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

The results of the health tests for prospective students in the medical education study program and the Pharmacy department of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang will be announced on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
