One form of student development effort is providing knowledge, skills and attitudes in student organization management both intra and inter-university which is called Student Management Skills Training (LKMM) to equip new students with basic skills in communicating, recognizing their potential, developing creative, innovative, critical traits and positioning themselves effectively in student organizations, skills in organizing student activities with good planning and systematics.
The pre-LKMM activity was carried out for 4 days on September 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2021, where in each activity new students will receive mentoring, training, simulations, and assignments. The purpose of holding this Pre-LKMM activity is to prepare dedicated and responsible cadres, possessing leadership and managerial skills, and communication channels to enhance the sense of brotherhood of PSPD UIN Malang students, increase team solidarity in their roles as students, and increase insight into environmental conditions that influence the existence of the organizations they lead. This pre-LKMM activity has contributed to introducing the organizations at PSPD UIN Malang, so that it is able to welcome and prepare graduates of young intellectuals who are mature in their leadership spirit in managing organizations and student organizations. This pre-LKMM activity also helps new students understand the learning model at PSPD UIN Malang and prepare effective learning methods.
