In the framework of the 5th anniversary of the FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim, a series of events will be held and began with an Open House Welcoming activity on Friday (26/03/2021) at the Ibnu Thufail Building, Campus 3, FKIK UIN Malang. Starting the Lustrum activity with an open house activity aims to provide information about lectures at FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim for students and BK teachers in all SMA/MA/equivalent in Indonesia. A total of 100 virtual invitations have been distributed to SMA/MA/equivalent throughout Indonesia. The activity was held at 13.00 WIB opened with the reading of the holy verses of the Qur'an by Feni Purnama Anjelika, the 1st winner of Qiroah Ligamentum 2021 and continued with a keynote speaker by the dean of FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M.Kes, Sp. Rad (K). "This activity is the opening for a series of Dies Maulidiyah and Lustrum events." The event continued with a talk show divided into three sessions, where the first session was delivered by the ranks of the vice deans of FKIK UIN Maliki Malang. "There are several paths that can be taken to enter FKIK UIN Malang, there are SNMPTN which uses the report card route, SBMPTN, and independent exams which are divided into two, namely the written independent exam and the achievement independent exam" delivered by Prof. Dr. Apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF, M. Kes as the vice dean of the curriculum. There is another interesting path, namely the independent exemplary scholarship path where prospective students will receive 0 rupiah UKT facilities with the condition of being a 30 juz Al-Qur'an memorization. Prof. Iha also conveyed the advantages of FKIK UIN Malang, namely moral development in mahad for one year and the Hajj medical program. Continued with the presentation by the vice dean of general affairs and finance, Mr. Ach Nasichuddin MA regarding the classification of UKT at FKIK UIN Malang. "There are 7 UKT groups at FKIK UIN Malang which are determined based on data on parents' income, dependents, and family size. For PSPD it starts from 400,000 - 26,000,000 and pharmacy starts from 400,000 - 9,000,000". The first session ended with a presentation by the vice dean for student affairs of FKIK UIN Malang, conveying facilities for all organizations, student achievements in internal and external organizations, and how the faculty provides facilities for all students who want to participate in competitions with facilitation from accompanying lecturers to funding facilities. After the talk show material was delivered by the vice deans, a question and answer session continued where many participants were enthusiastic to ask questions.

Before the second session of the talk show, a video tour and photos of the pharmacy study program's learning model were shown, along with a brief overview of the learning system in pharmacy. After the video, a talk show was held with the heads of the pharmacy study program, medical education, and the medical profession. "The learning system in pharmacy uses a block system, so it doesn't use a conventional curriculum. The block system is implemented with the aim of improving student skills. There are TBL learning models, lectures, and practicums," explained Mr. Hakim, the head of the pharmacy study program. "Graduates of Ulul Albab doctors are competent, professional, and have good morals, can work as doctors in hospitals, clinics, be involved in management such as BPJS, and other government institutions," said Dr. Ana, the head of the medical education study program. In the 2021 SNMPTN, all majors at FKIK UIN Malang were favorite study programs with the most applicants. "1:50 is very high competition, the selection is very strict, there will really be competition for qualified prospective students, improve your competence and interests so that they are truly suitable," said Dr. Ana. Another flagship program of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang is interprofessional education, where students are taught to collaborate with other health study programs. "Professional medical students, or coass, or young doctors, are actually medical graduates who enter the profession or clinical clerkship, where their learning uses a health service-based curriculum in teaching hospitals, community health centers, and other health services," said Dr. Malik, Head of the Professional Medical Study Program. This was followed by a question and answer session with participants who were very enthusiastic about the block lecture curriculum at FKIK UIN Malang.

The third session was a highly anticipated session by the participants because it featured direct conversations with alumni from both the medical education and pharmacy study programs. Medical education study program alumni Rislan Faiz Muhammad, S.Ked who is taking the Fast track S2 at Brawijaya University, pharmacy alumni Mala Milyatna, S.Farm who participated in a student exchange in Egypt while studying in the pharmacy study program, and the third alumni, Ahmed Hasan Abkar who is an international student in the pharmacy study program from Yemen. The alumni shared their impressions during their studies at FKIK UIN Malang.

This year's FKIK UIN Malang Open House received a lot of positive enthusiasm from participants. Many attendees came from across Indonesia, from cities on the island of Java, Palembang, Bali, Lampung, and even from as far away as the Indonesian School of Mecca.
