Poor – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held an activity Faculty of Medicine and Medicine, UIN Malang Welcomes 2026 on Sunday, June 7, 2026, online via Zoom Meeting. The activity carried the theme “Step Into Excellence, Shape Your Future” This event was attended by teachers and high school students from various regions. The event aimed to introduce the academic environment, study programs, and various self-development opportunities available at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Malang. Through this activity, participants gained a broader understanding of the world of education and professions in the healthcare sector.
The series of events began with an opening ceremony, a prayer, and the singing of Indonesia Raya and the FKIK UIN Malang March. Following this, participants were presented with various information about the faculty, learning facilities, and student academic life. The participants' enthusiasm was evident from the beginning, as they actively participated in each session. This activity also served as a means of communication between prospective students and the FKIK UIN Malang academic community.
In his speech, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati Prabowowati Wadjib, M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K), conveyed that the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang is committed to producing healthcare professionals who excel academically and professionally, grounded in Islamic values. He also emphasized the importance of building character, integrity, and social awareness for future healthcare professionals. He also encouraged participants to take advantage of this opportunity as a first step in determining the right higher education options. This welcome motivated participants to continue achieving and boldly pursue their dreams in the healthcare sector.

The event was further enhanced by the screening of a profile video of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang, showcasing various superior facilities, from laboratories to modern learning facilities. Participants were also invited to learn more about the campus atmosphere through a hands-on session. virtual campus tour which showcases the educational environment of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang. This session allows participants to directly observe the facilities that support the teaching and learning process. This experience provides a realistic picture of academic life at FKIK UIN Malang.

In the main session, participants received material from faculty leaders who are competent in their fields., first material delivered by Deputy Dean II for General Administration, Planning, and Finance (AUPK) dr. Alvi Milliana, M.Biomed. which explains the facilities and academic support available to students. Second material delivered by Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Begum Fauziyah, S.Si., M.Farm., who explained various student activities, scholarships, organizations, and collaboration opportunities that can support student competency development. Third material delivered by Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs Dr. dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M.Biomed., who explained the study programs, curriculum, and learning system at FKIK UIN Malang.

The Q&A session was interactive, with participants asking various questions related to medicine, pharmacy, and college life. The presenters provided comprehensive explanations, ensuring clear and easy-to-understand information. The enthusiasm demonstrated the high level of interest among the younger generation in healthcare education. At the end of the event, the committee awarded the best participants before closing with a prayer and a group photo session.

Through the FKIK UIN Malang Welcoming 2026 event, FKIK UIN Malang once again demonstrated its commitment to providing education and inspiration to prospective students. This event not only serves as a means of promoting the faculty, but also a forum to build the enthusiasm of the younger generation in achieving a bright future. With the support of adequate facilities, professional teaching staff, and a conducive academic environment, FKIK UIN Malang is ready to produce quality and globally competitive healthcare workers. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be held to expand access to educational information for the Indonesian people.
