FKIK UIN Malang, [July 23, 2023] – A warm and enthusiastic atmosphere was felt in the Bululawang area, as the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Malang held a free eye examination for Koran teachers throughout the district. This event was held in the context of fundraising annual event from LAZISNU MWCNU Bululawang.
With the main theme "Improving Eye Health for Koran Teachers in Bululawang Through Free Eye Examinations", this activity is a synergistic collaboration of various parties, including lecturers and educational staff from the Medical Education Study Program and the Medical Profession Study Program, alumni doctors of FKIK, as well as intern students and student members of the Rhazes Medical Team (RMT) organization.

This community service activity was led by Dr. Yuliono Trika Nur Hasan, Sp.M., accompanied by Dr. Christyaji Indradmojo, Sp.EM, as the Medical Team Coordinator. Various health aspects were also examined, including blood pressure, blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and color blindness and visual acuity tests.
In an interview, Dr. Putri Wulan Akbar, M.Ked. Trop., Sp. PK, Secretary of the Medical Profession Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, expressed her hope. "We sincerely hope that through this activity, the Quran teachers who have dedicated themselves to teaching children to recite the Quran will have complete healthy vision so that they can convey the verses of the Quran to Quran learners as part of the spirit of Islamic preaching."“
Furthermore, Dr. Putri also emphasized that this event is a means of real implementation of FKIK UIN Malang in providing active contributions in the field of affordable health services, while simultaneously carrying out the mandate of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
