The Faculty of Pharmacy, UIN Malang, Benchmarks the Establishment of a Masters of Pharmacy Program with the Faculty of Pharmacy, Padjajaran University

Bandung, 5/2/25 – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang conducted a visit benchmarking to the Faculty of Pharmacy, Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) in preparation for the establishment of the Master of Pharmacy Study Program. This activity aims to gain insight and references in developing the curriculum, academic systems, and infrastructure needed to support pharmacy education at the master's level.

The UIN Malang delegation was led by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FKIK, Prof. Dr. apt. Roihatul Mutiah, SF, M.Kes., and a team consisting of the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM) FKIK, Dr. dr. Nurlaili Susanti, M.Biomed., Head of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program, Head and Secretary of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, and several teaching and administrative staff of FKIK UIN Malang. The team was received directly by the Vice Dean for Resources and Organization, Prof. apt. Auliya A. Suwantika, Ph.D. and the Head of the Master of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy Study Program, Prof. Dr. Med. Sc. apt. Melisa Intan Barliana. During this visit, both parties had an open discussion on various aspects related to the Master of Pharmacy Study Program followed by tour laboratories and supporting facilities at UNPAD. In addition, FKIK UIN Malang also received an explanation of the academic system, excellence, and management of various study centers in the Master of Pharmacy Study Program.,

During the discussion session, the UIN Malang delegation also explored laboratory facilities, research programs, and collaborations developed by UNPAD.
