The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang once again held the first period of the Young Doctors Graduation and Oath-taking Ceremony in 2022 (Friday, February 4). The event was held in the Multipurpose Hall of the Ibnu Thufail Building, 1st floor, Campus 3 of UIN Malang on a limited basis by implementing strict health protocols. On this occasion, all leaders of the FKIK UIN Malang Deanship, the Chair of the Education Coordination Committee (Komkordik) of Karsa Husada Hospital, Batu City, Dr. Bambang Rishardana, Sp.B, as well as the best graduates in each study program were also present. This procession was also a special moment for the graduates because it marked the end of their study period as students.
Based on the report of the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF.,M.Kes., there are 33 students of the Pharmacy and Medical Education Study Program who were inaugurated, consisting of 28 graduates of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program and 5 graduates of the Medical Education Study Program. In addition, there are also 3 best graduates from each study program, namely students who obtained an excellent Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) with a study period of 7 semesters. The graduates are Berliana Nur Khatijah (GPA 3.74), Rista Octavia Mahardiani (GPA 3.71), and Frieda Novilia Saleh GPA (3.65) from the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program and Decitia Nisa Azzahra (GPA 3.45), Zuraida Ahadiyah Bulqies (GPA 3.41), and Ilham Muhammad Faris (GPA 3.3) from the Medical Education Study Program. At this moment, there was also a special award presentation to students who achieved non-academic achievements, namely becoming hafidzah Al-Quran 30 Juz. The students are Mutia Tazkia and Humaira Ramzi from the Pharmacy study program class of 2018. Â
In addition to the undergraduate graduation ceremony, there was also a young doctor's oath ceremony for 5 students graduating from the Medical Education Study Program, led by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K). The young doctor's oath ceremony was also witnessed directly by the main teaching hospital, Karsa Husada Hospital, Batu City, represented by the head of the Coordinating Committee, Dr. Bambang Rishardana.
