Sunday (26/12/2021) The Student Senate (SEMA) of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, successfully held the 2021 Legislative Webinar with the theme "Creating Young Legislators with a BADAI spirit (Capable, Active, Democratic, Aspirational and Innovative)". This online seminar presented a prominent sociopreneur and young politician, Dr. Gamal Albinsaid, M. Biomed.; and young influencer Dr. Ayman Idrus Alatas as speakers. This event was originally supposed to be attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Drs. A. Muhaimin Iskandar, M.Si, but was canceled due to a number of technical difficulties. Nevertheless, the event was still successful, seen from the enthusiasm of student participants from all over Indonesia, both those who listened via Zoom Meeting and live streaming from the Public Relations of FKIK UIN Malang.
The event began with the recitation of the holy verses of the Koran, remarks by the chief executive, the head of SEMA, and ended with remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M. Kes., Sp. Rad (K) who officially opened the event. Starting the main event of the FKIK Bersuara Webinar, Dr. Gamal Albinsaid delivered material on 'the existence of health students in the legislative world' led by apt. Alif Firman Firdausy as moderator. Dr. Gamal emphasized the importance of the role of youth in utilizing Indonesia's demographic bonus amidst high social inequality, social problems and low quality of human resources. "Youth must be a solution in the midst of society. Not only being agent of change, more than that as director of change”", concluded Dr. Gamal.
The next material was delivered by Dr. Ayman Idrus Alatas, a millennial doctor and influencer known for his educational content. The material was delivered in a fresher style, led by Usrin Amirawati (a student of the PSPD FKIK UIN Malang) as moderator. Dr. Ayman talked about tips for developing healthcare workers who are Capable, Active, Democratic, Aspirational and Innovative, or abbreviated with the acronym 'BADAI'. In the world of healthcare, especially medicine, there is a "Five Stars Doctor" technique which is also closely related to other healthcare fields, namely the concept of healthcare workers as: Care provider (provision of health services), Decision-maker (decision maker), Communicater (smart communicator), Community Leader (leader of a community), and Manager (manager/organizer). According to Dr. Ayman, these five things can be realized only if we can apply how to become competent, active, democratic, aspirational, and innovative healthcare workers in their respective fields. In closing, this handsome doctor also did not forget to remind us that in doing everything, as long as it's positive, don't forget to always do it with joy because this will affect how much love and action we will eventually produce.
