Batu, February 7, 2025 – After 40 days of carrying out various activities, the HIPE FKIK UIN Malang 2025 Student Work Lecture (KKM) program officially ended. The closing ceremony took place at ITC Campus 3 UIN Malang and was attended by Prof. Dr. Apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF, M.Kes. as Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Head of Study Program and Secretary of Study Program in FKIK, Dr. dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M.Biomed., as Coordinator of the FKIK HIPE KKM Program, Dr. drg. Anik Listiyana, M.Biomed as the Faculty Excellence Development Unit (UPKF) and all Field Supervisors (DPL) of HIPE KKM 2025, as well as FKIK UIN Malang students of class 2022 who have completed this program.

This event marked a significant milestone for students who had participated in various KKM (Community Health Program) activities from December 2024 to January 2025. During this period, medical and pharmacy students participated in a health intervention program for prospective 2025 Hajj pilgrims during the waiting period for the pilgrimage. These activities included comprehensive health checks, education on physical and mental health, and support to ensure prospective pilgrims were in optimal condition before departing for the Holy Land.

In addition, students also held a health seminar that ran for three consecutive weeks at the Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School (KBIH) in Batu City. The seminar featured Mr. Samadi, the Head of KBIH Al-Ikhlas, as well as lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Malang, as speakers, and a DPL (Regional Health Professional) who provided insights into health for prospective Hajj pilgrims. The results of this activity were presented by Hoshi and Dzawil, 2022 PSPD students who served as the HIPE coordinators for this period.

In her remarks, Prof. Dr. Apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF, M.Kes., expressed her pride in the students who had successfully completed the program. She hoped this experience would not only broaden their academic horizons but also provide direct benefits to the prospective Hajj pilgrims they accompanied.

Dr. dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M.Biomed. added that KKM HIPE is one of the community service activities that must be participated by FKIK students. In addition, this program is part of the responsibility of FKIK UIN Malang students in supporting prospective Hajj pilgrims to achieve istitha'ah health conditions, or be physically and mentally capable of performing the Hajj pilgrimage.

Furthermore, the event closed with a prayer led by Dr. Doby Indrawan, MMRS., FISPH., FISCM, followed by the cutting of the tumpeng as a form of gratitude for the smooth running of the 2024 FKIK UIN Malang HIPE KKM program.

With the conclusion of this activity, it is hoped that FKIK UIN Malang students can continue to apply the knowledge they have learned in public health services, and be better prepared to carry out their roles as health workers in the future.
