Saturday (March 18, 2023) the Dean's Cup closing ceremony was held, along with the first FKIK Carnival. The Dean's Cup is an annual arts and sports week organized by the FKIK Student Executive Board (DEMA FKIK). This event is one of the flagship programs of the FKIK Student Executive Board (DEMA FKIK). The purpose of this event is to enable FKIK students to develop their interests and talents in non-academic fields, especially arts and sports. Various competitions were held in both arts and sports. The sports competitions held included badminton, table tennis, basketball, and, e-sport and futsal. No less interesting are the many competitions in the arts, including duet competition, flash mob and poetry reading competitions. The Dean's Cup has been running for several weeks now, for approximately one month, every Saturday and Sunday until the culmination of the event, the closing ceremony and the announcement of the winners of several categories. This differs from previous years, which were still held online. hybrid This year's FKIK Dean's Cup was held entirely offline for all competitions. What made this year's event even more festive was that the closing ceremony also coincided with the FKIK Carnival and Campus Expo at the Faculty of Medicine Building, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.


The series of events began at 07.10 WIB, namely with group gymnastics guided by a gymnastics instructor, then continued with a performance by FKIK. home band and dance performances by the LSO Senior dance club. After that, the event was opened by the MC and continued with a welcoming speech by the Dean of FKIK, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K). He said that the FKIK Carnival was the first activity at FKIK which was a combination of several activities combined into one big event, namely closing Dean's Cup 2023, open house FKIK is open to high school students throughout the Greater Malang area, offering campus tours and exhibitions from student organizations and FKIK employees. The next event will be a performance by the finalists of the duet. competition and an acoustic performance from the LSO Senior Music Club. The event was attended by almost the entire FKIK community, including students, faculty, and staff, and was open to the public. Many local residents and students from other departments from Campus 1 came to enliven the event.
The event culminated with the announcement of the winners by the committee for each competition category. Three champions were selected for each category, as well as an overall champion., best supporter, and the best tenants. Approximately 24 tenants representing FKIK student organizations, faculty, and staff participated in this event. The overall champion in the Dean's Cup competition was Zonula Farmasi 2020., Best Supporter by the 2022 Pharmacy Assistantship, and the best tenant was won by the DEMA FKIK tenant. Interviewed offline, the chairman of the committee, the Dean of FKIK, Abbas arriziq (Student 2023), stated that the 2023 Dean Cup was an activity carried out with full renewal and high solidarity between FKIK residents, including students, lecturers, and the academic community who took part in this Dean Cup event. This activity is an activity with a new theme that is certainly fresher and more lively, especially combined with the 2023 FKIK Carnival, he said. Abbas also said that the closing ceremony of the Dean Cup, which was held together open house This is a combination of activities to highlight the essence that has been built from the beginning, namely increasing solidarity and mutual friendship, it is hoped that in the future the FKIK Carnival will continue next year considering the high interest and enthusiasm of the FKIK community. Several representatives of the winning classes were interviewed directly after the competition said that this activity was an activity to improve the skills obtained after joining the sports club at LSO Senior and the impression was that the Dean Cup was a very exciting activity. From the arts field itself, an offline interview said that the Dean Cup was an extraordinary and memorable event to give participants the opportunity to showcase their talents, for one of the arts branches itself became a learning tool for fellow teammates and strengthened family ties. For the literature field itself, one of the winners said that the existence of the Dean Cup was a means of learning and developing our interests, especially in the field of literature.
