The Third Annual Hajj and Umrah Health Symposium Discusses the Heat Emergency‘

(22/10) Hajj Health Unit, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang again successfully held an international annual symposium with the title: “The 3rd Annual Health Symposium on Hajj and Umrah (ANSHAR) 2022”. This activity is in line with the vision of FKIK State Islamic University of Malang committed to advancing Hajj health in Indonesia. This scientific forum is intended for lecturers, researchers, students, and Hajj health practitioners from both within and outside the academic community. State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to publish his findings in the scientific field, especially regarding various health problems in the implementation of the Hajj.

The 3rd The 2022 Annual Symposium on Hajj and Umrah Medicine (ANSHAR) this time carries the theme “"Heat Emergency on Hajj Pilgrims." This activity also focused on five more specific topics, including: Health services and management (Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Medical care for skin sunburn, Nursing care for skin sunburn, Pharmaceutical care for skin sunburn, Development of cosmetics/equipment for Hajj and Umrah health, Other topics related to medical, nursing and pharmaceutical science.

ANSHAR 2022 was opened by the Chancellor's remarks State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Prof. Dr. H. Zainuddin, MA, Dean of FKIK, Prof. Dr.dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K), and the special one is opening speech as well as the presentation by the Director General of Hajj and Umrah Organization of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Hilman Latief, MA, Ph.D. Prof. In his presentation, Prof. Hilman revealed that the important keys to the success of the implementation of the series of Hajj pilgrimages include prime physical condition and good worship management.

ANSHAR 2022 will last for 2 days (22-23/10) with the agenda for the first day being an international seminar presented by 5 keynote speakers who came from 3 countries, including: Liliek Marhaendro Susilo, Ak., MM (Head of the Hajj Health Center of the Ministry of Health Hajj of the Republic of Indonesia), Dr. Anas Khan, MBBS, MHA, SBEM (College of Medicine, King Saud University: Director General of the Global Center for Mass Gatherings Medicine of the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia), Haji Mohamad Amirudin, ET (Hospital Pengajar University Putra Malaysia), Prof. Dr. apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF., M.Kes (Department of Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy Study Program, FKIK State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang), and Dr. M. Rizal Novianto, M.HPE (Secretary of the Medical Profession Study Program, FKIK State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang). Meanwhile, the second day of the event focused on disseminating research results by researchers, delivered through online oral presentations.
