On Friday, August 5, 2016, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of UIN Maliki Malang held a preparatory meeting for the 2016/2017 academic year at the Mini Hall of Rumah Singgah Campus 2 UIN Malang. The event was attended by all lecturers and staff of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of UIN Maliki Malang. The event began with a speech by Dr. HM Zainuddin as the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs.

The event began promptly at 8:00 a.m. WIB and concluded at 2:00 p.m. WIB. At the lecture preparation meeting, Dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M.Biomed, Head of the Medical Education Unit (UPK), presented an overview of the learning activities to be held for the next semester. Lecturers from the UIN Maliki Malang medical education program were enthusiastic as they listened to the UPK team's explanation.
