Another proud achievement was achieved by Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang through the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program (PSPPA). Based on the Announcement Letter of Passing the National Competency Test (Ukomnas) PDPPA 2026 Number 0067/TIMADHOC.UKOMNAS.APT/IV/2026, 39 fifth-year students were declared pass 100%. This achievement is concrete evidence of the quality of education and consistent and focused academic development.
This success was not achieved overnight, but rather through a long process filled with struggle, sacrifice, and hard work. During their professional education, students are equipped with academic competencies, clinical skills, and character development as future healthcare professionals. Full support from lecturers, educational staff, and the academic environment is provided. Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang also became an important factor in this success.
The 1001 TP3T graduation also affirms PSPPA UIN Malang's commitment to maintaining graduate quality since its inception in October 2022. The tradition of perfect graduations, which continues to this day, demonstrates that the learning, evaluation, and student mentoring systems are effective and sustainable. This also strengthens PSPPA UIN Malang's position as one of the leading and most trusted pharmacist professional education institutions in Indonesia.
With the announcement of their graduation, the 39 students officially hold competent status and are eligible to proceed to the pharmacist oath-taking stage. They will join more than 160 Ulul Albab Pharmacists who have previously graduated from the PSPPA UIN Malang and are active in various pharmaceutical service sectors, including hospitals, pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry, and government agencies.
This success also reflects the strong synergy between students as learning subjects and the institution as educational facilitator. The Ukomnas preparation process, which includes intensive training, CBT-based and OSCE-based exam simulations, and ongoing evaluation, is key to meeting increasingly stringent national competency standards. Thus, graduates are not only able to pass the exam but also prepared to face the challenges of the professional world.
Beyond mere academic achievement, this graduation is expected to produce pharmacists who uphold ethical values, namely service-oriented, accountable, competent, harmonious, loyal, adaptive, and collaborative. These values serve as an essential foundation for practicing the pharmaceutical profession, which focuses on patient safety and improving the quality of healthcare services.
As a form of gratitude, all these achievements are always returned to Allah SWT with full sincerity: “Alhamdulillahi rabbil 'alamin 'alaa kulli haal.‘ This expression reflects the awareness that every success is a gift that should be appreciated, and also serves as motivation to continue trying to give the best.
It is hoped that PSPPA UIN Malang will continue to maintain and even improve these achievements in the future, and produce more pharmacists who excel not only academically but also possess strong moral and spiritual integrity. Thus, a tangible contribution to national health development can continue to be realized through the active role of graduates in society.
