Perkuat Tata Kelola, Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter UIN Malang Terima Kunjungan Benchmarking UIN Yogyakarta

The Medical Education Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang received a visit from UIN Sunan Kalijaga of Yogyakarta in order to benchmarking and share experiences related to the management and governance of medical education. This activity serves as a forum for networking and discussion, allowing for the exchange of information on the development and management of the Medical Education Study Program.

The Head of the Medical Education Study Program, FKIK UIN Malang, Dr. drg. Risma Aprinda Kristanti, M.Si., expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the visit by UIN. Sunan Kalijaga of Yogyakarta. According to him, the visit provided a good opportunity for both institutions to share experiences, particularly regarding management and governance in the development of medical education.

“"The Medical Education Department of UIN Malang is very grateful for the opportunity given to receive a visit from UIN Yogyakarta which aims to do benchmarking "Regarding the management and governance of the Faculty of Medicine," he said.

In this activity, both parties carried out sharing and discussions on policies and procedures for establishing a Faculty of Medicine, including various aspects of the administration and management of medical education. This exchange of experiences is expected to provide insights and serve as learning materials for both institutions in developing a quality medical education system.

Dr. drg. Risma Aprinda Kristanti, M.Sc., hopes that the relationship between the Medical Education Study Programs of UIN Malang and UIN Yogyakarta will continue to be established and developed. Considering that UIN Yogyakarta will also accept students from the Faculty of Medicine, both institutions have the opportunity to build collaboration and support each other in the development of medical education.

This collaborative opportunity is expected to be realized through improving the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in education, research, and community service in the health sector. This collaboration is also expected to remain grounded in the Islamic values that characterize and strengthen both institutions.

He also emphasized the importance of the academic community's active role in supporting educational development and inter-university collaboration. The academic community can participate through discussion forums on health education development, as well as in collaborative research and community service.

Through visits benchmarking The Medical Education Study Programs of UIN Malang and UIN Yogyakarta are expected to continue strengthening their relationship and opening up opportunities for ongoing collaboration. This activity is a positive step in building synergy, sharing experiences, and jointly improving the quality of superior medical education while upholding Islamic values.
