Monday (9/1/2023) the first opening of the campus introduction orientation for the pharmacist professional study program was held in the 3rd floor lecture hall of the Al Biruni Building, Pharmacy and Pharmacist Study Program, FKIK UIN Maualana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This campus introduction orientation activity lasted for two days until Tuesday (10/1/2023). The activity opened at 08.00 WIB starting with singing the Indonesian national anthem and the FKIK Hymn as well as Tilawah and Sholawat. The opening remarks were given by Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW., M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K) as the dean of FKIK then continued by the Head of the PSPA Study Program, namely Dr. apt. Rahmi Annisa, S.Farm., M.Farm. This was followed by a prayer and the presentation of important material for PSPA students in the future, including the Socialization of Academic Guidelines for the Even Semester of 2022/2023, Socialization of Student Code of Conduct, Socialization of the Education Curriculum, and Socialization of the PKPA Implementation Guidelines for the Even Semester of 2022/2023. The first day's event closed at 1:55 PM WIB.
For the second day, the event still started at 08.00 WIB and was immediately continued with efforts to improve the laboratory capabilities of PSPA students, including:, Skill Lab 1: Introduction to laboratory equipment and Skill Lab 2: An introduction to pharmaceutical instrumentation and analytical calculations. The second day's program concluded with a group photo at 2:10 PM WIB.
The entire event was held solemnly and successfully, thanks to the hard work and thorough preparation of the entire committee, including all FKIK lecturers. In an online interview, the Deputy Head of the PSPA Study Program, Apt. Alif Firman Firdausy, S.Farm., M. Biomed., stated that all preparations proceeded quickly due to the limited time available, starting from the issuance of the decree on October 24, 2022, the new student selection process in December, and the start of January when the PBAK and matriculation tests had to be completed. However, thank God, everything was handled well.
The hope of this campus introduction orientation activity by PSPA students is that students can get to know their new campus as well as get to know their academic advisors and most importantly, solidarity is built among fellow students. incidentally coming from different backgrounds and campuses. Mr. Apt. Alif Firman Firdausy, S.Farm., M. Biomed also said that the students selected as the first batch of PSPA New Students are very enthusiastic and qualified students. "At a glance, I see that this first batch of new students are diligent and hardworking students who are academically qualified. This is because the comprehensive selection process is carried out by the study program with the assistance of PMB UIN Malang," he concluded.
