UIN Malang Medical School held a training Online Research Skills, Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at the CBT Laboratory of Rumah Singgah, 3rd Floor, Campus II, UIN Malang. This training was attended by medical students and lecturers. This training is relevant to students' needs in utilizing Online Resources as a source of learning and research.
In the academic world, it is always inseparable from something called research. To find and find out the sources of information that we will use for rresearch, usually we can use anything on the internet with the help of Google or search engine However, not all of the information obtained can be categorized as scientific, and the search process can be time-consuming and requires a high level of competence in the required research field. "Therefore, we need other tools that can assist in searching for journals or other research results using other media," said Faizuddin Harliansyah, MIM. With the help of these media, abundant, affordable, easily accessible, and high-quality scientific information can be obtained.

Zotero is one of the... software which helps student researchers and lecturers manage their research references or reference materials. Zotero is included in reference management Free software, especially the desktop version. For the web version, Zotero provides free storage space at certain times. It also explains how to install Zotero, including the installation steps. offline (computer not connected to the internet), installing zotero plugin on word processor in a way on line, building zotero library, adding browser via web browser, create subject groups in Zotero Library, insert quotes (insert citation), inserting page information in citations, inserting bibliographies, changing citation style, install citation style.
