
Under the new leadership, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, which is again led by Prof. Dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K), held a presentation of the 100-Day Work Program on Wednesday (10/9/2025) at the FKIK Mini Hall. The event was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector IV, and the Head of the AUPK Bureau of UIN Malang for the 2025–2029 period. The event began with the introduction of the FKIK leadership for the 2025–2029 period, namely:
- Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences: Prof. Dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M.Kes., Sp.Rad(K)
- Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs: Dr. Ermin Rachmawati, M.Biomed.
- Deputy Dean II for AUPK: Dr. Alvi Miliana, M.Biomed.
- Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation: Dr. Begum Fauziyah, S.Si., M.Farm.
- Head of Medical Education Study Program: Dr. drg. Risma Aprinda Kristanti, M.Si.
- Head of Medical Profession Study Program: Dr. Abdul Malik Setiawan, M.Infect.Dis.
- Head of Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program: Prof. Dr. apt. Roihatul Muti'ah, SF, M.Kes.
- Head of Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program: Dr. apt. Rahmi Annisa, S.Farm., M.Farm.
- Secretary of Medical Education Study Program: Dr. Riskiyah, MMRS.
- Secretary of the Medical Profession Study Program: Dr. Putri Wulan Akbar, M.Ked.Trop.
- Secretary of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program: Dr. apt. Yen Yen Ari Indrawijaya, M.Farm.Klin.
- Secretary of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program: Dr. apt. Wirda Anggraini, M.Farm.

In her presentation, Prof. Yuyun emphasized the continuity of previous programs while also introducing new targets. Some of the flagship programs proposed include:
- “Excellent” Accreditation for Undergraduate Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional Study Programs.
- Opening of new study programs: Master of Biomedical Sciences, Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bachelor of Nursing and Nursing Profession, Doctor of Medicine, and Specialist programs.
- Establishment of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Medicine.
- Preparation for international accreditation for Medicine and the Medical Profession.
- Addition and development of human resources for lecturers and educational staff.
- Fulfillment of minimum standards for laboratory facilities.
- Improving student competency, including foreign students.
- Strengthening graduate recognition and national–international cooperation.
- Development of a digital-based integrated information system.
Prof. Yuyun also targets the main target of FKIK is to increase Go International in this period as explained in the work program, in addition Prof. Yuyun also plans to target and add international-standard student organizations (ormawa). The Rector of UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. Hj. Ilfi Nurdiana, M.Sc., CAHRM, CRMP, in his remarks said that the university program this period emphasizes the second phase of international recognition. He appreciated the achievement of FKIK which succeeded in entering the Top 5 L'Oréal Hair & Skin Research Grant 2024, and hoped that FKIK lecturers would be more productive in international research.
Furthermore, Prof. Ilfi emphasized that FKIK must align with the Ministry of Religious Affairs' vision as a "valley of civilization," namely combining scientific excellence with noble morals and spiritual depth. He also hopes FKIK will play an active role in empowering Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) through research, community service, and student community service (KKN), considering that the majority of UIN Malang students come from madrasas and Islamic boarding schools.

The event closed with a discussion session moderated by Dr. Abdul Malik Setiawan, M.Infect.Dis. In addition, souvenirs were handed over by Vice Rector IV Prof. Dr. HM. Abdul Hamid, S.Ag., MA, and Head of the AUPK Bureau Prof. H. Triyo Supriyatno, M.Ag., to the FKIK leadership for the 2021–2025 period. This activity was also enlivened by the performances of Mr. Yossi Indra Kusuma, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., and Dr. Iwal Reza Ahdi, Sp.PD.
