Sunday (28/11/2021) at the Shelter Building, 4th floor, Campus 2, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, the event "“Meet the Expert: the First Step to Becoming a Young Leader with Integrity (MTE 2021)” organized by the Student Executive Board (DEMA) of FKIK UIN Malang. Interestingly, this event was attended directly by current great leaders including the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M.Kes, Sp.Rad(K), young CEO of PT. Daur Bumi Abadi and PT Irit Jaya Farhan Lukman Mahbubi, as well as the inspiring young Mayor of Kediri City Abdullah Abu Bakar Bakar, SE MTE 2021 took place online and offline from 07.30 to 12.45 WIB. MTE 2021 is one of the innovative flagship work programs of the PSDM department of DEMA FKIK UIN Malang for the 2021/2022 period. This work program is packaged in the form of an interactive seminar to bring together inspiring leaders from various sectors who are experts in their respective fields.

The event began with remarks from the Chief Executive, Muhamad Fajrul Anwar, followed by the Governor of DEMA FKIK, Muhamad Daffa Abhista Reviansyah and remarks by the Dean of FKIK UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati PW, M.Kes, Sp.Rad(K) who also officially opened the event. In his remarks, Prof. Yuyun emphasized the importance of intelligence that a leader must have in running an organization, including leaders in the health sector. "For example, when we face a situation of limited hospital ward capacity during a pandemic, we need a leader who is intelligent and provides solutions in every action so that patients can be handled, so that the national health status can be maintained," he added, "Hopefully, FKIK UIN Malang students can become iron stock successors to future leaders”.

Entering the main event, Rani Azzahara (Pharmacy 2019) as moderator led the panel discussion by bringing three speakers to the stage. The first speaker was Prof. Yuyun who presented material on the existence of students in responding to the leadership crisis, the intelligence and principles of a leader, and closing with material on the leadership character that exists in each student.

The second material was no less interesting, this time Rani presented Farhan Lukman Mahbubi, a young leader and entrepreneur, he spoke about leadership strategies for young leader who want to dive into the world entrepreneur. Furthermore, Farhan also shared time management tips for leaders and how to develop innovation. The long-awaited session finally arrived with the appearance of the Mayor of Kediri, Abdullah Abu Bakar, SE. The young mayor, popularly known as Mas Abu, raised the topic of "becoming a leader at a young age." He also taught how to become a successful young leader in overcoming various challenges.

This year's MTE attracted a total of 236 participants, both online and offline. Despite being the first of its kind, MTE 2021 demonstrated high enthusiasm. This was evident in the large number of participants in attendance and the active participation in asking questions.
