As the plan to build a teaching hospital at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang becomes more serious and mature, the rector is also revamping the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. One way is by streamlining the leadership of the new faculty. Following the inauguration of a new dean, FKIK now has a new Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Roihatul Muti'ah, SFApt., M.Kes., who was recently inaugurated on Friday (April 17).
This is one of Prof. Dr. Abdul Haris, M.Ag.'s efforts to support bureaucratic improvement. He hopes that with the new leadership personnel, the campus's dream of becoming a Smart University will quickly become a reality.
Following his inauguration, Roihatul acknowledged that he would undoubtedly face more responsibilities as a frontline member of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK). However, with what he considers a very solid team, he is confident that all the faculty's tasks, vision, and mission will be achieved one by one. "We not only want to be beneficial to the campus itself, but we are also determined to spread benefits to the community," he explained.
Roihatul replaces Dr. dr. Achdiat Agoes. He is currently entrusted as the deputy head of the Community Health Service Center, assisting the former dean of FKIK, Prof. Dr. dr. Bambang Pardjianto, Sp.B., Sp.BP.,RE(K), who now serves as the head of the Community Health Service Center. Both currently work at the UMMI Clinic, in front of the UIN Malang campus.
