Thursday (17/3/2022) has become a historic day for Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang on the inauguration of the construction of Campus III State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang by the Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yahya Hasan Alqahtany and the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Almarshad. Also present on the occasion were the Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Nizar Ali, M.Ag accompanied by the Rector of UIN Malang Prof. Dr. Zainuddin, MA and his staff. This was also appreciated by the entire academic community of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK), because FKIK is one of the faculties projected to occupy the magnificent building pronounced "Basmalah".

SFD CEO, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Almarshad expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude to State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang for his enthusiasm and dedication to the world of Islamic higher education. Based on all of this, he stated that SFD is committed to supporting development in State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. As is well known, UIN Malang is an Islamic higher education institution and a reference for international students from around the world to study. The Faculty of Medicine and Medicine (FKIK) of UIN Malang is no exception. More than 20 international students have studied at this faculty, which offers undergraduate programs in Pharmacy and Medicine.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is planned to occupy a building complex bearing the phrase "Ar Rahim" (The Rahim), along with the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Research and Data Center, the Islamic Tutorial Teaching Building, the Laboratory Building, and the Student Islamic Boarding School Dormitory (Ma'had). This building will be equipped with high-quality learning facilities and other supporting facilities. It is hoped that the completion of the UIN Malang Campus III complex will fulfill the community's desire for high-quality, world-class general and Islamic education.
