FKIK UIN Malang Recited Sholawat to Welcome the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday

Prayers to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) resounded on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Ibnu Sina Mosque, Campus 3, UIN Malang. The lively event, organized by the Student Executive Board (DEMA), the Faculty, and the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FDI), began at 8:00 a.m. WIB and continued until finished. The event, titled "Celebration of Islamic Holidays" (PHBI), commemorates the Prophet's Birthday and aims to remind Muslims of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to emulate his morals and struggles.

 

The event was very lively attended by the Vice Dean II of FKIK UIN Malang, Lecturers, Faculty Community, FKIK Students and Participants. It opened with the reading of Sholawat Nariyah and continued with the Opening of the Event brought by Nur Fadila Mukharromah as the Chairperson of the Committee, Hoshi Pandito as the Deputy Dema and Welcome Speech. The large number of attendees who participated, the event felt even more lively when the Sholawat was echoed and accompanied by the LSO Banjari Team.

In addition to enlivening the month of the Prophet's birth, the event also became a forum for developing the talents of FKIK students by holding several branches of competitions, including posters, Nasyid, and Da'i which were participated by all classes of FKIK students from both the Medical Education Study Program and the Pharmacy Study Program. "Alhamdulillah, I am very happy when we managed to become the favorite winner of the Public Poster, with hard work and support from friends," concluded Nujumil A'la, one of the winners of the Public Poster competition.

“"I really appreciate the students as the organizing committee for this Prophet's Birthday, because this is one form of our respect for the Prophet Muhammad SAW who brought guidance and lessons for Muslims. So the reading of prayers at this event, maybe not only held once a year if it can be routinely once a month or once every 2 months, so that we can continue to emulate the struggle of the Prophet Muhammad one way is by reading prayers and my hope with this commemoration, we always emulate the example of the Prophet Muhammad SAW," said Deputy Dean II Mr. Ach. Nashihuddin. MA.

 

By holding this PHBI event, it is hoped that it will increase our faith and piety towards Allah SWT, and also strengthen our love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
