Along with thanksgiving and prayer, may we all always receive protection, mercy and guidance from Allah SWT. Sholawat and greetings to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, with great hope that one day he will intercede for all of us at Yaumul Qiyamah.

As Muslims who want to achieve the degree of Taqwa, we should optimize every opportunity provided by Allah SWT, one of which is the momentum of Eid al-Adha 1441H which God willing falls on Friday, July 31, 2020. Allah SWT commands us to make sacrifices as His word says:

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ (الكوثر: 2)

“"So establish prayer for your Lord and make sacrifices"”
(QS: Al Kautsar: 2).

Beyond the religious aspect, qurban offers several other benefits, including economic and social ones. Many parties involved in qurban, from livestock sellers to recipients, experience the joy of receiving the meat. This is especially true during the current COVID-19 pandemic, where many people have been economically impacted and need assistance.

As in previous years, this year, FKIK UIN Malang also facilitates those who wish to distribute their qurban donations, which can be in the form of cash donations or directly in the form of qurban animals. So, for those of you who intend to carry out the Qurban Worship this year, let's make a qurban with FKIK UIN Malang. God willing, the animals to be sacrificed are in accordance with the recommended sharia and the distribution of the qurban meat is right on target.
