Taking place in the RSSA Director's Room, the PPE donation handover ceremony was held in a limited and simple manner. However, this did not diminish the essence of this event. The Secretary of the Medical Profession Study Program, FKIK UIN Malang, Dr. Iwal, stated that the need for PPE is currently very important to protect students undergoing internships at the Hospital. "With PPE, young doctors will be better protected from COVID-19 infection compared to without PPE. Because after all, to become a competent doctor, young doctors cannot only rely on online learning but must be directly involved in practicing the knowledge gained during pre-clinical studies," said Dr. Iwal.
The trust to receive donations in the form of PPE also illustrates that despite being very young, the Medical Education Study Program of FKIK UIN Malang has received recognition from the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University Surabaya, one of the oldest medical education providers in East Java and in Indonesia.
