FKIK Holds Prophet Muhammad SAW's Birthday Celebration

Prophet Muhammad SAW was a prophet who really loved his people. This love was proven when his life was taken from him by the angel Izroil. He still remembered his people and was willing if all the death torments his people felt, he was willing to compensate by inflicting his torment on himself. In the form of love and happiness for his arrival, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UIN Malang, held a birthday event for the Prophet Muhammad SAW which was held on Friday (2021-10-22) at the Ibnu Sina Mosque, Campus 3, UIN Malang with the topic "Imitating the Prophet Muhammad SAW in Understanding the Essence of Religious Moderation" which was explained by Ust. Dr. H. Hilmi Zuhdy.MA.M.PD. (Lecturer in Arabic Language and Literature at UIN Malang, active writer and writer) who was attended by the Dean's leadership, Study Program leaders and the FKIK academic community.

In his religious lecture, he said that there are many stories of the Prophet that we have studied in commemorating today's birthday, one of which is his example of caring for a household, where when his wife Khatijah was menstruating, the Prophet invited them to eat together in between meals. One example of the Prophet's morals towards his wife was very noble and there are many stories about his morals that we must emulate. Hopefully, on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad and also coinciding with Santri Day, we can imitate one of the Prophet's morals, especially in loving our family. Amen said Ust. Dr. H. Hilmi Zuhdy.MA.M.PD in delivering his tausih.

The event began after Friday prayers and was opened with the reading of the holy verses of the Quran, followed by speeches, the first speech was delivered by the head of the faculty and the second speech by the chairman of the committee, then followed by the reading of the sholawat tiba which was recited by the mothers of the sholawat group from the community around campus 3 and the end of the event was followed by a lecture and prayer. This year's commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday was slightly different from previous years because this year FKIK invited a sholawat group from the community around the campus which added to the enthusiasm for reciting sholawat.
